Corrective Maintenance:
The task is performed to identify, isolate and rectify a fault so that the failed equipment or system can be restored to an operational condition. It involves the replacement or repair of the equipment after it fails.
Preventive Maintenance:
The act of performing regularly scheduled maintenance activities to prevent unexpected failures in the future. It includes cleaning of equipment to minimize dirt and dust, lubricate rotating parts & repair or replace it before it fails.
